Dr Tyler Buckley (Osteopath)
Tyler’s journey into Osteopathy began with his love for sport and fitness.
Growing up playing basketball, football and tennis, Tyler has always had a passion for being active and understands its importance on health and well-being.
Having experienced a number of sports-related injuries himself, Tyler understands the impact that pain can have when it holds you back from doing the things you love, which drew him to want to help others on a similar journey.
His interests were only furthered by studying Physical Education in the final years of high school, where he developed an eagerness to learn more about the human body and how injuries can be both managed and prevented.
Tyler employs a structural approach to treatment, using a range of hands-on techniques including soft tissue massage, joint mobilisations, dry needling and joint manipulations.
He often combines this with exercise prescription, creating a comprehensive management plan tailored to the patient’s goals in order to ensure the best possible outcomes.
Tyler enjoys treating a wide range of injuries and conditions, however he has taken a particular interest in sports related injuries, helping patients get back to their best.
Tyler also enjoys treating a variety of neck and lower back presentations, often related to patients work and lifestyle, providing relief and advice to implement into their daily lives.
When not in the clinic, you’ll often find Tyler playing basketball, at the gym, running, watching sports or spending quality time with family and friends.
